Help The Men Carve NPC with 10 volunteers for Digital tools and media for community programmes

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

The Men Carve is seeking digital devices and technology support to strengthen our organisational operations and improve the delivery of our community programmes. We need computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones to support administration, programme coordination, communication, research, reporting, and the management of our activities. We also welcome IT support and digital skills training to help our team and volunteers improve their digital capabilities and use technology effectively. Additionally, we need media equipment, including cameras and video recording equipment, to document our workshops, school visits, university engagements, community outreach, and awareness campaigns. This will help us share our impact, raise awareness about healthy manhood and gender-based violence prevention, and communicate our work to potential donors and partners. We welcome donations of new or good-quality used devices, technical assistance, digital skills training, and media equipment from businesses, professionals, and individuals. Your support will help The Men Carve strengthen its digital capacity, improve programme delivery, and reach more schools, universities, and communities.

Stay safe

  1. 1. Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
  2. 2. When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
  3. 3. Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4. Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
  5. 5. If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
  6. 6. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
  7. 7. Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
