Dear Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities Team, I trust this email finds you well. On behalf of the Initiative Youth Development Program (IYDP), it is our pleasure to formally invite the Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities to attend and participate in our upcoming June 16th Youth Expo 2026, scheduled to take place in Soshanguve, Gauteng, as part of Youth Month commemorations. The Youth Expo is a community-based youth empowerment initiative aimed at connecting young people with access to opportunities, information, and support services that promote education, employability, entrepreneurship, and personal development. The event is expected to attract a significant number of young people from Soshanguve and surrounding communities, particularly unemployed and underserved youth. The programme will include: Career guidance and employability support Entrepreneurship and business development information Digital skills awareness and online application assistance Access to bursary, learnership, internship, and job opportunities Motivational and educational engagement sessions We believe your Department’s participation would add significant value by providing young people with direct access to youth development programmes, empowerment initiatives, disability inclusion services, and economic participation opportunities. We would be honoured to have your Department participate through: An information exhibition stall Youth engagement sessions or presentations Distribution of informational material Any additional support or collaboration deemed appropriate We look forward to the opportunity to partner in empowering young people and promoting inclusive development and equal access to opportunities.
