The Ernest Foundation is seeking a dedicated Admin & Finance Assistant volunteer to support our crucial work empowering women and children in Orange Farm, South Africa. This role is vital for strengthening our operational backbone, allowing us to maximize our impact in the community. As an Admin & Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our daily operations by assisting with: Financial Administration: Helping with basic bookkeeping, record-keeping of donations and expenses, processing invoices, and preparing financial reports (under supervision). General Administrative Support: Assisting with data entry, filing, managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies. Reporting & Compliance: Supporting the preparation of necessary documentation for funding applications and compliance requirements. Communication: Assisting with internal and external communications, including donor acknowledgements and community outreach materials. We are looking for someone who possesses: Basic understanding of administrative and financial processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) or similar tools. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. A passion for community development and empowering vulnerable individuals. Ability to commit to a regular schedule (e.g., a few hours per week/month).
