Proposal Overview This mentorship initiative builds capacity among KUCA's young team members, who deliver admin work for the after-school programs in drama, dance, music, public speaking, and wellness for children aged 5-17 in Protea Glen, Fochville and Kokosi. Mentors provide guidance to enhance organizational sustainability, aligning with KUCA's goals of skill-building and community impact Mentor Roles by Field • PR and Communications: Advise on storytelling for arts events, social media strategies, and stakeholder engagement to amplify KUCA's youth showcases. • Program Management: Guide workshop planning, timeline tracking, and curriculum delivery for holistic programs combining arts and academic support. • Fundraising: Support grant writing, donor events, and sustainability plans, drawing from KUCA's past successes like Nedbank Local Hero funding.library+1 • Monitoring and Evaluation: Assist in designing KPIs, impact reports, and assessments to measure outcomes like improved child confidence. Program Benefits and Timeline Mentors gain networking in South Africa's creative sector and fulfilment from youth development, while KUCA strengthens operations for 2026 expansion. Launch with an info session in February 2026, followed by pairings and evaluations every 3 months.
