Help Khulisa Social Solutions with 5 volunteers for Leadership development programme for community NGOs
Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
Khulisa Social Solutions runs an NGO capacitation programme that supports community-based organisations across various parts of South Africa. Through this programme, we work with grassroots NGOs to strengthen their governance, leadership, operational systems and programme delivery so that they can operate sustainably and serve their communities more effectively. Following a recent staff wellness survey conducted among our partner NGOs, one of the key findings was a significant need for leadership development among many of these organisations' leaders. These leaders often carry extensive responsibility within their communities but have had limited opportunities to access structured leadership training and mentorship. In response, Khulisa plans to develop a leadership development programme specifically for leaders of grassroots NGOs. The course will be delivered virtually and staggered over a four-week period, allowing participants time between sessions to apply exercises and reflections within their organisations. We are therefore seeking corporate volunteers willing to assist in developing this programme and supporting the design of practical, accessible learning content. Areas where volunteers could contribute include: • Leadership development and mentoring frameworks • Organisational leadership and team management • Communication and conflict resolution within teams • Creating practical exercises and reflection tools for participants • Assisting in the design of online learning modules and facilitation techniques The programme will be translated into local vernacular languages and delivered via online facilitation to ensure that leaders from different regions of South Africa can participate. Corporate volunteers contributing to this initiative will play a vital role in enhancing the leadership capacity of community-based organisations working within vulnerable communities across the country.
Helpful tips
Stay safe
- 1. Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.

- 6. Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
- 7. Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
