Program Credibility & Compliance Strengthen the program’s legitimacy for funders, government, and regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance with health regulations and ethical standards. 📋 Suggested Role Description: Medical Consultant for Outpatient Drug Rehab Program Purpose: To provide clinical oversight, medical care, and strategic input in the development and implementation of a community-based outpatient rehabilitation program. Key Responsibilities: Conduct initial and ongoing medical evaluations. Develop protocols for medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Collaborate with counselors, social workers, and program staff. Train staff on medical aspects of addiction and recovery. Support monitoring and reporting for health outcomes. Qualifications: MBChB or equivalent medical degree. Experience in addiction medicine, psychiatry, or public health. Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
