Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
What we need: A volunteer with experience in Salesforce (especially NPSP) or data management to help us build field-mapping templates — spreadsheets that map our existing data fields to the right Salesforce fields — so we can migrate our records accurately. What this involves: We'll work through one focus area at a time, for example: fundraising sponsors and grantees, event participants, suppliers, sponsors and donors, and ophthalmologist practice and contact details. For each area, the volunteer helps us lay out a clear template showing which of our current fields go where in Salesforce, flags anything that needs cleaning up first, and then captures the data onto the mapped sheets so it's ready for uploading into Salesforce. Where: Can be done online/remotely, at a pace that works for the volunteer. A short call to align on the first area would help us get started. Skills needed: Salesforce/NPSP knowledge, data mapping or database experience, spreadsheet skills (Excel).
