Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

In many communities, a significant number of children struggle to keep up with their peers in academic performance. Factors such as socio-economic challenges, lack of access to quality educational resources, and insufficient individual attention in overcrowded classrooms contribute to this issue. As a result, these children are at a higher risk of falling further behind, which can lead to diminished self-esteem, disengagement from school, and a decreased likelihood of academic success in the long term. In Freedom Park, Rustenburg, many children face these challenges, particularly those from vulnerable backgrounds. The current educational system often lacks the capacity to provide the necessary personalized support these children require to thrive. Without intervention, the educational gap continues to widen, perpetuating cycles of poverty and limiting future opportunities for these children. This after-school program is designed to address this critical issue by offering targeted teaching and tutoring services to children who are lagging behind. The program aims to provide a supportive learning environment where students can receive the individualized attention they need to improve their academic skills, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
