Heemstede’s vision & mission:

Heemstede's vision is to develop a global citizen and graduate focusing on the future by empowering the individual. To build a lasting legacy by investing in leadership development and create thoughtful and serving leaders. To inspire innovation through social inclusion and to acknowledge excellence in all forms.

What are we currently doing?

In term 1, Heemstede will volunteer at Stellenbosch Animal Welfare Society. In term 2, there will be a bingo night where the entrance fee is sanitary items and in term 3, Heemstede will volunteer at a safe house for victims of domestic abuse (August is women's month).

What else can you do?

Community service has been an integral part of Stellenbosch University (SUN) for decades albeit in different forms and with shifting emphasis. This platform allows you to make social impact within the university's (7) CSI themes. Click on the links on the themes below to get involved in volunteering and donating opportunities of your choice.
