What are we currently doing?

In February, Brightstar Programme at the Kayamandi Legacy Centre and Cloetesville tutoring until the end of the year. At the end of February will be a formal meeting with Thuma Mina (online education). In March, a list of places will be made where one can volunteer in Stellenbosch. Once every two months and one drive for the Old Age Home. Year-round projects at Stellenbosch Night Shelter and orphanage. Week 2 of term 2 is a blood drive. The first week of May is a clothing drive/swop. Mandela Day (18 July, possible collaboration with STOP Hunger SA), possible 5km funrun in week of 25 July. Month of August is a sanitary pad drive. September is a sandwich drive and fairy godparents' fund (students who can't afford house dance).

What else can you do?

Community service has been an integral part of Stellenbosch University (SUN) for decades albeit in different forms and with shifting emphasis. This platform allows you to make social impact within the university's (7) CSI themes. Click on the links on the themes below to get involved in volunteering and donating opportunities of your choice.
