The Viva Ind. School has two campuses, one in the Alaska Informal Settlement, Mamelodi East and the other between Cullinan and Refilwe, at Viva Connect. Our Mamelodi East campus has reached capacity with regard to space and we will go to Grade 8 in 2022. Our present Grade 7 class from Mamelodi needs to continue their education at the Refilwe Campus and we need accommodation for them from Mondays to Fridays. We are planning a Boarding facility for at least 20 learners - 2 each in a bedroom, with accommodation for staff members who will oversee boys and girls. Presently, we have broken ground and have completed the civils for the foundations and services. The next phase is the concrete and steel structure, where-after the brick and mortar phase and finally, finishings and furniture. The project total cost is approximately R 2 000 000.00 in phases of R 250 000.00 each: 1. Concrete & Steel 2. Brick & Mortar 3. Roof 4. Electrical and Plumbing 5. Windows, Doors, Fittings 6.
