What are we currently doing?

The main goals for the year is to make Academia greener and more sustainable and help people with mental disabilities. In terms of SI, there will be donation drives of goods and stationery at the end of each term which will go to an institution. Zumba HIIT fit classes will be held for sanitary pad drives but this is not confirmed yet. For sustainability, the three-bin system will be implemented and the use of compost heaps. Students will be encouraged to recycle through competitions and whatsapp messages.

What else can you do?

Community service has been an integral part of Stellenbosch University (SUN) for decades albeit in different forms and with shifting emphasis. This platform allows you to make social impact within the university's (7) CSI themes. Click on the links on the themes below to get involved in volunteering and donating opportunities of your choice.
