What are we currently doing?
Within Serruria, is the Serruria Pantry which helps residents with basic needs via donations from other residents. 3 March is a sandwich drive that will be donated to Stellenbosch Disaster Centre. The Ark Fun Day is on 14 May in collaboration with another residence. On 10 August is the Santa Shoebox project (also in collaboration with other residences).
What else can you do?
Community service has been an integral part of Stellenbosch University (SUN) for decades albeit in different forms and with shifting emphasis. This platform allows you to make social impact within the university's (7) CSI themes.
